Dr. Evan believes dentistry to be an ennobling profession that allows him to relieve pain and improve quality of life.
The Professional Side
Dr. Evan Yu grew up in Hamilton, Massachusetts. He graduated summa cum laude from Boston College with a degree in biochemistry and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. Prior to dental school. Dr. Evan worked in research at a biotech startup in Boston developing medical diagnostic kits. He attended the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine where he received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Dr. Evan completed the General Practice Residency at Metropolitan Hospital in New York City where he trained under specialists in endodontics and oral surgery. Dr. Evan believes dentistry to be an ennobling profession that allows him to relieve pain and improve quality of life. He is focused on maintaining excellent quality of care for his patients. He has volunteered for Mission of Mercy, Special Olympics Special Smiles, and Inner City Dental Mission. He has also participated in mission trips to provide dental care for the indigent in the Dominican Republic and Honduras.
The Personal Side
Dr. Evan enjoys Olympic recurve archery, rowing, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, yoga, and tabletop games. He is a roller coaster enthusiast and theme parks are among his favorite travel destinations.
