 Stephen Markowitz DMD | Dr. Stephen Markowitz is a third generation dentist and has grown up in the area and been part of the community his entire life. Dr. Markowitz graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where he was awarded the clinical award in prosthodontics. Prior to dental school, Dr. Markowitz earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Connecticut. Before joining Leominster Family Dentists, Dr. Markowitz attended an externship at the North Shore Community Center in Salem, MA. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, The American Dental Association, and the Massachusetts Dental Society. Outside of the office Dr. Markowitz loves to golf, ski, and spend time with his family. |
 | Dr. William Unger has been with Leominster Family Dentists for so many years that he has become our most highly requested doctor, known and loved by hundreds of happy patients. Dr. Unger does dentistry about a thousand hours a week, participates in 100 mile bicycle rides for charity, and still finds time for his lovely wife and children. However, he has not found the time to give us his biography. Please remind him when you see him at our office! |
 Carolyn Schweitzer DDS | Dr.Carolyn Schweitzer grew up in Connecticut and New York, migrating to Massachusetts in 1985. She earned her Bachelor's degree at Cornell University in 1980 and her Doctor of Dental Surgery at The State University Of New York At Buffalo Dental School in 1984, followed by a General Practice Residency at Buffalo General and Deaconess Hospital. Dr. Schweitzer worked for other dentists for some time before taking over a practice in Medford in 1992, which she then moved to Winchester in January 2000. She traveled to California to study advanced techniques in delivering all-ceramic veneers and crowns. Twelve years into ownership, Dr. Schweitzer realized that "being the boss" was making her nutty! She took some time out from dentistry to start a family (better late than never!) and returned to join Leominster Family Dentists in 2008. Here, she can focus on what she loves most; the needs and wants of her patients, and "making beautiful smiles". |
 Sam Merabi DMD | Dr. Sam Merabi hales from Massachusetts, got his bachelors degree from Brandeis University and attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine for his DMD. He has received numerous awards in both community service and research, including the Presidential Award for Citizenship and Public Service. Among Dr. Merabi's numerous accomplishments is a Master's degree in Public Health and experience as an instructor for the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He is currently the Chief Oral Health Advisor for a charitable program called Raising Malawi (www.raisingmalawi.org). Dr. Merabi was named by the Massachusetts Dental Society as one of the "2010 Ten Under 10", recognizing him as one of ten young dentists in the Commonwealth that have been in practice under 10 years and have made significant contributions to the profession. We believe that Dr. Merabi has developed the ability to clone himself in order to have accomplished all of this! |
 Mojgan Rahimi DMD | Dr. Mojgan Rahimi has been practicing general dentistry since 1998 when she graduated from Boston University with high honors. Dr. Rahimi is exceptionally qualified, practicing general dentistry, and she utilizes her expertise to specialize in aesthetic dentistry. She has attended a variety of courses to ensure that she is aware of the latest advancements in the ever changing world of dentistry. Dr. Rahimi takes great pride in giving the best dentistry has to offer in creating every personalized smile. As an active member of the American Dental Association and the Massachusetts Dental Society, Dr. Rahimi is committed to understanding the needs and desires of each patient.. |
 Ghazwan Ghazi DMD | Dr. Ghazwan Ghazi graduated from Boston University School of Dentistry in 1992. After practicing as a general dentist in Boston from 1992 - 1994, he received his special training in Periodontics and Dental Implants from The New Jersey Dental School along with his Master's degree in 1997. Dr. Ghazi has been on the faculty of Harvard School of Dental Medicine since 1998 where he teaches clinical periodontics and dental implants to the post-graduate residents. Dr. Ghazi has been practicing periodontics and dental implants in the Boston area since 1997. Dr. Ghazi is a Diplomate of The American Board of Periodontology. .
